Richie Sambora ‘Fired From Bon Jovi Tour’?

Sources cite money disagreement as the reason for the guitarist’s departure…

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has reportedly been axed from the band’s current tour.
Sambora, who has been with the band for 30 years, left Bon Jovi’s Because We Can tour back in April, putting his departure down to “personal reasons.” He also cancelled on Bon Jovi’s recent Hyde Park concert, but was due to reunite with the band in September.
According to RumourFix, sources have cited a disagreement over money as the reason Sambora won’t be continuing on the tour.
The 54-year-old guitarist was apparently pulling in $2million (£1.28million) a month and 20 per cent of the profits from the tour.
By comparison, replacement guitarist Philip "Phil X" Xenidis is earning about $10,000 (£6,419) a month on the trek.
However, a source told the site that Sambora is still keen to rejoin the band.
The source revealed: "Richie wants to go back onstage – that's his first love. He's really upset over the news."
The Because We Can tour will see Bon Jovi play South and North America before finishing up Australia this December.
