Boy George Sent To Prison

Boy George has been sent to prison for 15 months after chaining a male escort to a wall and beating him.

The former Culture Club star- real name George ODowd- was convicted of False Imprisonment of Audun Carlsen at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

The judge in the case said the singer was guilty of gratuitous violence" and continued: your premeditated callous and humiliating handcuffing and detention of Mr Carlsen shocked, degraded and traumatised him.

Boy George claimed the Norwegian man had stolen photos of him from his laptop and refused to testify in the case.

The singer was also a successful DJ in the 1990s and has spoken previously about battling drug addiction.
