As one of Hollywood's biggest stars, Brad Pitt certainly isn't short of a bob or two.

But the movie hunk insists that it's the children he and wife Angelina Jolie are bringing up that really enrich his life.

"You learn to value the basic beauty of family, of watching your children grow and evolve," he told Psychologies magazine.

"It's the most beautiful thing you can experience. I feel like the richest man alive since I've become a father."

And the 50-year-old claimed that being a good dad is the most important thing in his life.

"I see my children as an essential part of my life, and it means so much to be able to educate them and help them make their way in the world as they grow up," he continued.

"I love being a father and all the responsibilities that entails."
