Vitalii Sediuk: "I Never Punched Brad Pitt"
The notorious Ukrainian ex-journalist advises Brad to “tighten your security”…
Vitalii Sediuk, the Ukrainian ex-journalist who attacked Brad Pitt on the red carpet at the LA premiere of Maleficent, has spoken out about the incident.
“I never hit, I never punched and I never slapped Brad Pitt in the face,” says Vitalii. “This is absolutely false information that hurts not only me, but my family.
“It’s very upsetting that Brad Pitt didn’t come out with a statement and say, ‘This guy didn’t punch me’. That would be very helpful, because he obviously knows the truth, he was there.”
Brad Pitt has also spoken about Vitalii’s attack, telling People, "I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me.
“I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head – not too hard – but enough to get his attention, because he did let go. I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses."
"I don't mind an exhibitionist," Brad continues, "but if this guy keeps it up he's going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd.
“And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman's dress again, he's going to get stomped."
Notorious prankster Vitalii previously tried to put his head up America Ferrera’s dress at the premiere of How To Train Your Dragon 2, crashed the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards when Adele was collecting a trophy from J-Lo, and got a slap from Will Smith after trying to kiss him at the Moscow premiere of Men in Black 3 in 2012.
In his parting statement, Vitalii says, “Don’t be offended by me, don’t be mad at me and maybe be thankful that I show it’s easy to get access to you and maybe tighten your security.”
