The clock is ticking if you want to enter this year’s MTV Brand New For 2014 Unsigned competition. We’re looking for the best unsigned UK and Irish talent out there and the competition closes onmtv.co.uk/unsigned, complete your profile and upload your video – simples. Then it’s down to our panel of music experts and the voting public to decide who makes it onto the MTV Brand New For 2014 presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds shortlist. Last year our Unsigned winner, [uuid=05ddfec8-7766-4adf-a038-a06e31d526e2]Ebony Day[/uuid], made history when she was also crowned overall winner of the MTV Brand New for 2013 shortlist, beating out signed acts like [uuid=45a2356e-6b6e-43ae-9bae-fa731f12a7a9]Gabrielle Aplin[/uuid] and [uuid=d3fce21e-df26-4b4c-98f7-43d6f0197fb7]HAIM[/uuid]. Her advice for any unsigned acts competing this year? “Believe in yourself, because if you don’t believe in yourself then who will?”
