BMTH Announce Tiny Secret Show For ‘That’s The Spirit’ Release

Bring us ALL the tickets...

Bring Me The Horizon fans, prepare yourself for the most up-close and personal the band have done in years, because they have just announced a tiny, FREE show on Friday 11th September, the same day that their new album, That’s The Spirit, gets released.

Quite frankly, it’s too much to handle…

BMTH will play London’s House of Vans next Friday night (September 11th) to 850 very, very lucky fans (be quick! You can still sign up for the free tickets), which is a miniscule gig for a band who just performed to around 120,000 people at Reading and Leeds festivals, and headlined Wembley Arena in December 2014.

No big deal.

Tickets for the band’s UK tour at the end of this year went on sale this morning – they are playing in Edinburgh, Doncaster, Cardiff and have already sold out the closing night at Alexandra Palace. Support on that tour comes from UK pop punkers Neck Deep, as well as PVRIS and Beartooth, and tickets are going fast for those shows.

BMTH have been teasing fans with tasters of the new album, dropping new single ‘Throne’ complete with trippy Jon Snow-inspired video, directed by Oli Sykes himself, as well as ‘Happy Song’, which he called the album’s ‘unofficial title track’ and a lyric video for ‘True Friends’. Jordan Fish, keyboardist, vocalist and the man responsible for teaching Oli how to sing, has produced all the tracks on ‘That’s The Spirit’, which the band recorded themselves in a private studio in Santorini, Greece.

Oli has previously chatted about the fact that there are very high expectations for this record after the success of 2013’s mammoth smash, Sempiternal, saying: "This time round, the challenge wasn't just for people to be impressed that a screamer's learned to sing. We had to come back with something that would be impressive for people who had no idea of the history of the band."

We were very happy to hear that their 2014 hit ‘Drown’ is included on the album – check out the full tracklisting below:
