Amanda Holden Slams SiCo For BGT Lateness
She complains about Simon Cowell's timekeeping for ITV show's filming...
Amanda Holden has taken a swipe at Britain's Got Talent boss Simon Cowell, claiming that he keeps everyone waiting by turning up hours late for filming.
She opened fire on SiCo, who recently angered her with a joke about her failed marriage, in an interview with Good Living magazine.
"I have to take a deep breath each year before we go into it because we work extraordinarily long hours, mainly because of Simon," she said.
"If he started at 10am like the rest of us, rather than one or two o'clock in the afternoon, then we'd all finish by 8pm.
"But we don't, we all finish at around midnight."
However she took care to distance herself from reports that she had clashed with fellow judge Alesha Dixon.
"The publicity team like to create madness when there isn't any," she explained. "They tried it last year with Alesha and me, but we weren't having it.
"I have girls, I don't want them ever reading about me having bitchy fights with other women.
"Last year it was a bit about David and Simon, but it was fun, it wasn't displaying them in a bad way. There's no fighting."
And she went out of her way to be nice to the other member of the panel - David Walliams.
"He was so interested in Hollie when she was born and came and fed her in my room," she said.
"He's the kind of person who writes a note to thank you for a lovely afternoon or for dinner.
"He's not as camp in real life, he puts a lot of it on. He's very quiet."
