Ashleigh And Pudsey Win Britain's Got Talent!
Super-cute pooch runs away with the talent show final...
The nation's favourite dancing dog, Pudsey, has been crowned the winner of Britain's Got Talent.
Along with his owner Ashleigh, the clever canine was hotly tipped for BGT glory and he didn't disappoint, pulling off a Alesha Dixon said: "You're showing people what dogs can do when they have good homes and are loved," while Simon Cowell gushed: "I adore both of you, and to do what you did was a miracle."
The British viewing public obviously agreed and the pair were announced as the winners, beating opera-singing duo Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli into second place, with Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud third.
On hearing the result, 17-year-old Ashleigh was overcome with emotion but managed to thank everyone who had voted and tearfully said: "I'm just so proud of Pudsey. I love him so much."
As a self-confessed lover of dog acts, Simon Cowell quipped: "My life's work is now complete."
Let's just hope Pudsey, who Ashleigh claims is already developing diva tendencies, doesn't let success go to his head!
