Dancing Dog Pudsey Makes BGT Final

Performing pooch is first into the final as Only Boys Aloud take second place...

Dancing dog Britain's Got Talent final last night with a performance so cute even Simon Cowell couldn't help but gush.

Having already wowed the judges in the audition phase with their David Walliams and Amanda Holden voted for the 175-strong choir, while Alesha Dixon was impressed by The Mend, leaving the decision to Simon.

Unable to split the two, Cowell opted to leave it down to the public vote and it was Only Boys Aloud that made it through to the final.

Choir leader Tim Rhys-Evans said: "I am over the moon for these guys. They worked really hard. Thank you to the British public. I couldn't be prouder."

Failing to make it to the final stage of the competition were raunchy violinist Analiza Ching, singer Rachel Knowland, dance group United We Stand, 12-year-old singer Lauren Thalia, '50s band The Jive Aces and Where Me Keys, Where Me Phone rapper Zipparah Tafari.

Tonight's semi-final is set to include stuntmen Cascade, camp quintet The Showbears and one-time favourites Jonathan and Charlotte.
