SiCo Slams Britain's Got Talent Fix Allegations
Cowell has called in the cops to find out who spread the Ronan Parke rumours...
As we previously reported, 12-year old Ronan became the act to beat after wowing the BGT judges in his first audition, with reports now claiming that he has been "secretly managed" by SiCo for two years.
The blog stated that Parke had been discovered by scouts from Cowell's record label, SyCo, after he performed at a birthday party for Norwich City manager, Bryan Gunn, with the rumours insisting that the child was "guaranteed to win" the show.
A source has since told The Sun, that the online allegations are "cruel lies about a child pursuing his dream."
They continued: "It is disgusting to be so cruel to a 12-year-old child. The hunt is on for this person."
Parke's mum, Maggie, also added to The Sun: "I am really angry. Ronan has worked so hard to get where he is."
According to the tabloid, cops have now been urged to track down the culprit who spread the lies about the youngster, with Simon's lawyers reporting the offence to the police.
Scotland Yard confirmed: "An allegation of malicious communications was made to Kensington and Chelsea police. The allegation is being considered."
BGT issued a statement regarding the accusations, emphasising: "There has been speculation on the internet that Britain's Got Talent finalist Ronan Parke was known to and worked with Syco/Sony Music before entering the show."
"There is no truth in this story whatsoever. Ronan first came to Syco/Sony's attention when he entered this year’s competition."
It added: "Syco/Sony Music will not hesitate to take whatever legal action is appropriate to prevent further publication of these unfounded allegations.”
Ronan was voted through to the show's grand finale after singing Adele's Make Me Feel Your Love, and will now do battle for the BGT crown on Saturday.
