What's All This About Cheryl Replacing Amanda Holden On BGT?
It seems Simon Cowell is up to his old tricks again, but not all it what it seems...
In a game of Call or Delete, the music mogul chose his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge to pick on, and managed to convince Holden that he was planning on replacing her with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on this year’s live shows.
SiCo explained that he wanted her and Chezza to alternate so the show could attract a wider audience, before adding that he wanted the 'Only Human' singer on the BGT panel as she’s “younger”.
Amanda was clearly taken aback by his comments, and after a lengthy silence, asked Cowell whether he was joking.
The 44-year old blonde then seemed to believe the lie, admitting that despite not being happy with the changes, she supports Simon and the show. Awww…
At the launch of BGT in London last night (April 9), Amanda was quizzed about the prank, joking that she felt “bitter” towards Cheryl, despite the gorgeous Geordie not being in on SiCo's antics.
