Rumour has it that Britney has yet another man in her life.

According to US magazine, Life & Style, Ms Spears is seeing musician Howie Day who she met on one of her recent trips to rehab.

Not well known on this side of the Atlantic, Howie is described by his website as "known for his unique one-man-band approach to performing, in which he employs live loop sampling and delay pedals to create rhythms, melodies and backing vocals"

Despite Howie's obvious talents, Britney's Mum, Lynne, is reported to be unhappy about the pairing. The Life & Style article quotes a 'family insider' as saying: Lynne wants Britney to be with someone outside the music industry, says the Spears family insider. Howie is always on the road and exposed to influences that are discouraged in rehab.

Of course, we wish Howie and her all the best but can't help be doubtful about yet another romance so quickly.

Slow down, Britney. At least wait until your hair grows back...
