Britney: "Paris is my Idol"

Britney Spears looks up to new bezzy mate Paris Hilton as an older sister, according to Paris's publicist, Elliot Mintz.

The pair have been papped out on the raz a lot recently - on Sunday night (November 26) they were papped coming out of a club and getting into Paz's car along with Lindsay Lohan and last week they got into trouble with the police after a party at Paris's pad got too noisy.

Some commentators have said the gals are going out together just to get more publicity - especially as Lindsay and Paris are meant to hate each other.

But Mintz says, "What I've observed is that we have three extraordinarily powerful women who generate a tremendous amount of attention, money, and adulation and they're tired of other people trying to ride on their coat tails and create false dramas."

Of Paris and Brit - let's call them 'Brilton' - he said the two have "become like sisters" with Paris "inspiring" Britney's recent all-leg, lot-of-boob look.

The cosy twosome are now said to be enjoying some chill time at Britney's Malibu mansion with her tots, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
