Britney Spears 'Contract Bidding War Looming'
Labels reportedly keen to snap her up once she's free of current record deal...
Britney Spears' next recording contract is likely to see a bidding war between several record companies, it has been reported.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that her fellow The X Factor USA judge LA Reid is keen to sign her to his Epic Records label at Sony when her contract with Jive Records (now RCA) expires after one more album.
While former Jive head Barry Weiss is now working at Island Def Jam Motown and Universal Republic - and is said to be keen to work with Britters again.
He said: "I have a 15-year history with Britney and would love to be reunited with her."
But the 30-year-old star is claimed to have become good friends with Reid on The X Factor.
