Britney Spears, Lady Gaga Collaboration Denied
William Orbit has said Lady G doesn't feature on Britney Jean tune 'Alien'...
Lady Gagawill not feature on new Britney Spears trackWilliam Orbit has confirmed.
Orbit - who has worked with Spears on her eighth studio LP - took to Twitter to clear up any speculation that the pop princes had teamed-up with Gaga on the song, which is due to appear on her Britney Jean album.
The musician wrote: "I see the rumours about a GG vocal collaboration on 'Alien' have died down. U prob already know it, but can confirm: No collab."
The reports of a possible Spears / Lady G hook-up were previously fuelled by Britney's collaborator Will.I.Am, after he praised her ARTPOP album cover using the hashtag "#creativeALIEN".
While his tweet appeared irrelevant at the time, fans soon jumped to conclusions after it was confirmed that a song called Alien was to feature on Spears' album.
The 31-year old star has since teased that their are a number of collaborations on her record, but declined to name any of the artists featured.
Spears and Lady G previously worked together in 2008 on bonus track Quicksand - which Mother Monster co-wrote for Brit's Circus LP.
Britney is set to release new single Work B**** on November 3, ahead of her Britney Jean album on December 2.
