Britney Spears has thanked her fans for their support of her new music video Work B****, admitting she feels "overwhelmed" by the positive response.

The 31-year-old singer shows off her toned bod and slick dance moves in the new clip, [uuid=5fd7309a-30f2-4272-8ee1-95159e331484]which dropped earlier this week[/uuid].

The pop princess took to Twitter to write: "Overwhelmed with all the love, my goodness! Big kiss to all of u & Mr Ben Mor!!! Xxoo #WORKBxxCHVideo"

The new promo sees BritBrit dancing in the desert in a range of revealing outfits - and the star has since stated that she actually cut a heap of scenes as she felt they were too sexy!

While chatting with US radio outlet The TJ Show today (October 3) the songstress revealed: "Oh my God, we showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video than what is actually there."

Spears, who is a mother to 8-year-old Sean Preston and 7-year-old Jayden James, continued: "I cut out half the video because I am a mother and because, you know, I have children, and it's just hard to play sexy mom while you're being a pop star as well."

She added: "I just have to be true to myself and feel it out when I do stuff."

BritBrit’s as-yet-untitled eighth studio album [uuid=34c2a061-1136-4ffa-bc30-58f27e2e019c]will be released on December 3[/uuid], and the starlet also recently announced plans for a [uuid=73dc22a4-6499-4773-817d-b653f2a29721]two-year performance residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas[/uuid].
