John Lyndon, aka Johnny Rotten, is keen to write a song for Britney Spears after her recent troubles.

Speaking to The Sun Newspaper, the rotten rocker explained that the painBritneys been through lately could be the key to producing some amazing material "She has been hurt. And hurt is the root core essence of good music.

John continued I haven't written a song for Britney yet but I would love to. I'd like to help out because there's a girl who needs some help."

Britney was spotted recently at fashion designer Christian Audigiers 50th Birthday Party, Brit was with her father and reported partner Jason Trewick.

Later in the evening, Michael Jackson, Mena Suvari, and Pamela Anderson were amongst guests to arrive at the party that featured performances from Fergie and Macy Gray.
