Britney Spears' label boss has hinted at the star's next single, labelling it "outstanding".
Peter Edge, CEO of Britney's label RCA Records, told Billboard this week that the singer's next single is likely to be a track called Perfume, penned by Australian star Sia.
Edge told the publication: "We’re feeling really good about the Britney album."
He continued: "There’s a song we feel fairly strong will be the second single called 'Perfume.' It was written by Sia and could be a big career song."
Edge added that while the track is more "down-tempo" than Britney's previous release Work B****, fans will be "amazed at the quality of her vocals on it."
He revealed: "She sings it beautifully and it has a real sincerity to it. And it’s outstanding - I think people are not only gonna be surprised but also see another side of Britney.
"There’s a lot more personal content on this album than we’ve seen from her in the past."
Spears has previously spoken of her love of the track, telling Good Morning America on the day she announced her Las Vegas residency: "I love the 'Perfume' song. It's really beautiful."
The 31-year-old star added: "I like that song a lot. It's a ballad."
Britney Spears' eighth studio album Britney Jean will be released on December 3.
