*** Britney Spears' new album cover has been revealed. 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative' sees Brit wearing a fur cape, which has got American anti-fur campaigners PETA criticising her, say reports. "From what I am told, it's a fake fur," the star's spokesperson told the tabloids. 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative' is released on November 8.
*** The Cure are planning to re-release a special double-cd version of their debut album, 'Three Imaginary Boys'. According to the band's official website, the LP will include six previously unreleased songs, demos, outtakes and live tracks. The album is due out on November 29.
*** U2 have confirmed they will tour next year. Following rumours about possible gigs, the band's manager has revealed that U2 will play Dublin (Croke Park, June 26-27), London (Twickenham Park, July 2) and Paris' Stade De France (early July, 2005). He is, however, asking fans not to try and get tickets until official sale begins.
*** Embrace have revealed details of a spring UK tour. The band will call at Newcastle (February 23), Doncaster (25), Manchester (26), Leicester (28), Wolverhampton (March 1), Cambridge (2),Portsmouth (3) and London (5). Tickets go on sale this Saturday (October 16) at 9am.
*** Marilyn Manson will allegedly play the Queen of Hearts in a re-make of 'Alice in Wonderland'. The film, titled 'Living In Neon Dreams', will also feature Daryl Hannah, Tim Roth and Jonathan Pryce. Manson said: "I'm not just playing a drag queen, I'm playing a woman. There's a big difference, and there's more work to do on that."
