When Britney Spears' Ferrari broke down in the middle of a three-lane motorway on Sunday, help came in unexpected form.
The singer was being driven by her brother Bryan on the Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu in California when her silver 360 Spyder broke down " and it was the pursuing paparazzi who helped push her onto the hard shoulder.
Of course it wasn't all selfless Christian charity from the half dozen snappers " most of them were pushing with one hand and furiously continuing to photograph Britney with the other. Once safely to the side she called for help and was eventually ferried to safety by the sheriff.
The cops must have been feeling generous because they didn't arrest the paps " who can now be charged under new Californian state law for following celebs.
