There's been a lot going on in the music world...

It's been a pretty busy week in the music world so we don't blame you for missing things. That's where our handy round up comes in and saves the day...

From tonnes of MTV VMA 2016 announcements through the Frank Ocean making our lives complete with his new albums, we're here to bring you bang up to date with what you might have missed this week.

ALL The MTV VMA 2016 Announcements

It’s been quite the week for 2016 MTV Video Music Awards announcements with the ceremony approaching this weekend, so we thought we’d get you bang up to date with everything that’s going on.

Firstly, LOADS of performers have been announced. Joining Britney, Rihanna and Nick Jonas will be Future, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, The Chainsmokers and Halsey. As well as this the pre-show performers have been announced with Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan, Jidenna and Lucas Graham joining host DJ Khaled.

If that’s not enough, there will also be a star-studded line up of celebrity presenters including Kim Kardashian West, Fifth Harmony, Jaden Smith and LOADS more (seriously, loads).

Little Mix Announced When We’ll Hear Their Next Single

After listening to' Get Weird 'on repeat about 17000 times (it just doesn't get old!), we're very glad to hear that Little Mix will be gracing our ears with some new material soon.

The group revealed the news to Capital FM's Roman Kemp at V Festival over the weekend. Leigh-Anne said: "We've already decided the next single!" whilst Jesy confirmed: "Very, very soon. October, you'll hear it.”

Can I get a collective ‘YAAAS’? We’re SO excited.

Frank Ocean’s Multi-Media Album Release Made Our Lives Complete

A week ago today Frank Ocean let us into his little secret by sharing with the world his visual album, 'Endless'. After years of waiting for new music fans were over the moon, however, when word got around that there was MORE to come, the world collectively lost their sh*t.

Next came ANOTHER album, 'Blonde', as well as a zine titled 'Boys Don’t Cry', a phrase we’re all very familiar with after Frankie O’s cryptic Tumblr posts. The zine even included a poem about McDonaldswritten by Kanye West. Only Frank could pull something like this off and we’re SO thankful to be on this planet right now.

Calvin Harris, Bastille And More Announced For Apple Music Festival's 10th Anniversary

Apple Music Festival is back once again, this time for its tenth anniversaryand the line-up does not disappoint. Britney Spears, The 1975, Calvin Harris and more will be heading over to the festival’s spiritual home of London’s Roundhouse for a string of free gigs.

Other artists include Elton John, Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, Robbie Williams, Bastille, Michael Bublé and Chance The Rapper. With a line up this good we’re wishing September would hurry up and be here.

It's Britney, B**ch! Britney Spears Does Carpool Karaoke & Drops Her New Album, Glory

Can someone remind me what year it is? With Pokemon making a comeback and Britney Spears being the biggest star on the planet once again, we'reconvinced we’ve all travelled back to the 90s.

Britney was the next celebrity to join James Corden for Carpool Karaoke and we reckon it’s our favourite one to date. As they sing ALL of the princess of pop’s hits, we can’t help but want to sneak into the backseat and join along with them.

If that’s not epic enough for you, the video has been released on the same day as her new album, 'Glory'. We don’t know about you, but we reckon this day should just be called The Britney Spears Appreciation Day from now on.
