Bruce Jenner reportedly called police to his Malibu home on Tuesday (April 21) after paparazzi took illegal telephoto lens shots of him.

According to TMZ, deputies with the Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s Department were called to the 65-year old’s private property, after snappers took invasive pics of him and tried to sell them to various publications.

[related]The images later emerged on The New York Daily News site, which reportedly show him wearing a black-and-white maxi dress as he appears to be smoking a cigarette on the patio outside.

It’s illegal to use telephoto lenses to shoot celebrities in private locations, with TMZ adding that cops are trying to hunt down the photographers.

It’s thought that Bruce previously confronted the paps last week and threatened to call the authorities about their behaviour, staying true to his word and doing so yesterday.

The website adds that Jenner may be considering taking out a restraining order again the photographers, while also stating that he could also sue them.

Interest in Bruce and his private life has heightened over the past few months, thanks to rumours about his gender transition.

The former Olympian is set to tell-all about his reported sex change during a 20/20 special interview with Diane Sawyer this week, which airs in the US on Friday (April 24).
