Bruce Jenner Confirms His Transition, Says Kim Kardashian ‘Has Been The Most Accepting’

The 65-year-old’s much-anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer has aired and here’s what it taught us…

Bruce Jenner’s long-awaited interview with Diane Sawyer finally aired in the US on Friday night, where the Olympian confirmed, “Yes, I am a woman.”

The emotional two-hour special saw Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Bruce explain, “My brain is much more female than it is male. It’s hard for people to understand that, but that’s what my soul is.”

Having been taking female hormones for around a year and a half, the 65-year-old hasn’t decided whether he’ll undergo the full medical procedure, but said that if he does “I would do it so quietly, no one in the world would ever know."

During his interview on 20/20, Bruce told how "terrifying" it was to reveal his gender identity to his 10 children and step-children.

"[Kim] has by far been the most accepting and easiest to talk about it with," said Bruce, of step-daughter Kim Kardashian.

KK even told Bruce, "Girl, you gotta rock it, baby. You gotta look good."

It seems that Kim's husband Kanye West had a hand in her acceptance of her step-dad's transition, telling the 34-year-old that no matter how much you have, "I'm nothing if I can't be me."
