InTouch Run Fake Image Of Bruce Jenner As A Woman, The Internet Responds
And it was originally a photo of Stephanie Beacham…
Bruce Jenner has been dealing with rumours surrounding his apparent desire to have a sex change for months, but now InTouch have taken things a step further, by covering their latest issue with a Photoshopped image of Bruce in full make-up and women’s clothes.
Flanked by the headline ‘Bruce’s Story: My Life As A Woman,’ it has since been revealed that the original photo was one of Dynasty actress Stephanie Beacham, with Bruce’s facial features superimposed on to the snap.
Speaking of Bruce’s desire to become a woman, a ‘source’ told InTouch, “He will come clean in 2015 about transitioning. This is his year of coming out.
“When Bruce goes public, he wants to go big and come out as a transwoman on the cover of The Advocate, the ultimate LGBT magazine.”
This was followed by a quote from an ‘Advocate insider’ on Hollywood Life, who apparently said, “We would love to cover the story.”
However, The Advocate has since released a statement, rubbishing all claims.
"I’m astounded that Bonnie Fuller’s Hollywood Life would claim to have ‘all the details’ on Bruce Jenner’s ‘big magazine plans’ because their story is a total fabrication — like InTouch’s distressing Photoshopped cover," said Matthew Breen, editor in chief of The Advocate. "Neither publication has any insider source with knowledge of The Advocate's planned coverage."

The internet has also been reacting to InTouch’s treatment of Bruce, with many Twitter users showing their support for the 65-year-old Olympian.
I don't really like to acknowledge pop culture or stupidity in general but InTouch Weekly calling Bruce Jenner as a transgender is sad.

The Advocate also reached out to pillars of the transgender community, with YouTube star Gigi Gorgeous – a trans woman herself – commenting, "It’s always sad to see the media alter images of someone in the public eye.
"Until Bruce chooses to share his story — whatever it is — it's no one's business. Being transgender is not a joke or something to poke fun at."
Chris Mosier, athlete and founder of TransAthlete.com, said, "By saying Bruce Jenner is transitioning, the InTouch cover story and image supports and maintains a dangerous environment for transgender people — particularly transgender women, who already experience violence at an alarming rate.”
No doubt the InTouch vs. Bruce Jenner storm will rage on, but we just hope that Bruce can get on with his life without judgement, whether he’s living as a man or woman.
