The Hawaii born star knocked Alexandra Burke from the top spot. Her track Start Without You fell to number five.
Taio Cruz, Katy Perry and The Script were all non-movers at numbers 3, 4 and 5.

This coming Sunday Mars may not be able to hang on to the top spot as he faces two strong challenges to his chart supremacy.
Tinie Tempah’s Written In The Stars and his mate Labrinth’s song Let The Sunshine both look set to storm the Top 5 this week.
