After teasing us with their undeniably cute friendship for months, Kpop boys BTS and American pop star Halsey are collaborating on a single together, and we are ECSTATIC.

Giving us a sneak peek of what’s to come in a teaser clip, we see Halsey sat in what appears to be a cinema ticket booth, closing up her shift and heading home - but as she heads out, she walks past our K-pop boys sat on a sofa together… and so begins our major freak out over the collab of our dreams becoming all too real.

The teaser video also shows us Halsey and the BTS members all dressed in all pink, sitting under a cinema called ‘Persona’, a reference to the boys brand new upcoming album title - ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ - revealing that this is going to be the lead single from the boys next project. The single and music video will be released April 12th.

This comes just days after the boys dropped the trailer for their new album that sees RM tease us of what's to come in the new era, including a lot of deep reflection, making the new catalogue title all the more perfect of a fit. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook’s new tracks will be coming at us the same date as the Halsey collaboration release, April 12th.

It follows in the footsteps of the boys last two #1 albums on the Billboard Hot 200 ‘Love Yourself: Answer’ and ‘Love Yourself: Tear’, and will be out just in time for the boys European leg of their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ world tour this year, including two sold-out shows at London’s Wembley stadium.

We can’t wait to hear the new track and will be waiting patiently for the next few days for its release. Okay, maybe not so patiently, we’re dying over here.
