Charlie Simpson Literally Made Everyone 'Put Their Balls On The Table' Before Busted Record Deal Was Signed
Busted star Charlie Simpson made his band, manager, and lawyers put their balls on a table before the band signed a new album deal
Busted had a pretty weird demand before signing their current record deal – literally telling everyone involved to place their balls on a table.
And no – not metaphorical balls. Literal, physical, testicles. Really.

It all sounds a bit weird, but at least it led to the release of their dazzling new album, Night Driver.
Returning band member Charlie Simpson insisted that all of the band, their manager, and lawyers display their crown jewels on the table of a restaurant during album deal negotiations – and refused to take no for an answer.
“When we signed the record deal for this, it was fresh label people at a fresh label that we had no history with and they were excited about the music,” James Bourne begins.
“It's not a 360 deal - it's about our album. And Charlie made everyone put their balls on the table in the restaurant,” the 33-year-old continued.

“There was f**king four lawyers there, but Charlie made everybody in the restaurant get their testicles out and pop them on the table," Matt Willis laughed during this bonkers revelation to DigitalSpy.
“The head of our f**king record label, his balls were out on the table. Our lawyer, his balls were out,” the 33-year-old revealed.

Admitting it was all true, Charlie, 31, added: "A few of the lawyers were like, 'I'm not doing that' and I was like, 'You f**king are'."
What a ball buster!
But it all seemed to be worth it - their album was released last week. Well done chaps!
