Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Looks Out Of This World - LITERALLY. Watch The Trailer Now.
Call of Duty will officially head to space this year. Here's everything we know.
Just when you thought you might actually see some sun this summer, COD has returned with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Ok, you may still get that tan since this title isn't landing until 4 November. But if you're really committed you'll be indoors practicing all summer since this game takes things to a new level - a SPACE level.
Yep, you get to fly a space jet out of the Earth's atmosphere and into the inky black to do battle with others. It looks amazing. Check out the full trailer below which PERFECTLY uses a classic Bowie cover to capture the brilliance of space battles.
The game's developer, Infinity Ward, says you take control of Captain Reyes who pilots one of Earth's last remaining warships against the Settlement Defense Front. Since these guys are based on colonies, off world, battles will be fought both on Earth and in space. This is the same studio responsible for Titanfall so the move to space and mech suits should be an ideal jump for them to make.
The Legacy Edition of the game will also include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered with the campaign mode and 10 multiplayer maps.
Expect plenty of futuristic weapons, mech suits and space jets to keep you busy for the forseable future.
