Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Tops Games Chart
But biggest game of year fails to beat Modern Warfare launch...
The best-selling video game launch of the year and the fourth best selling game ever Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has topped this week's all-format chart.
The first-person shooter (which has earned $500 million so far) has gone straight to the top spot, knocking Halo 4 into second place and FIFA 13 into third.
However, despite huge sales, it has failed to outperform fellow Call of Duty titles Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 at launch, according to Eurogamer.
The charts saw two new entries this week: Electronic Arts' The Sims 3: Seasons which went in at No 9 and Activision's Black Ops: Declassified at No 16.
The biggest chart climber was Microsoft's Kinect Disneyland, which moved up 9 places from No 26 to No 17.
The biggest drop came from Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which fell 9 places to No 19.
