Celebrity Big Brother’s Calum Best Opens Up About Drugs And Playboy Past Following Dad’s Death - VIDEO EXCLUSIVE

DON’T MISS the full episode of Calum Best In Therapy, tonight at 10pm - only on Channel 5!

Celebrity Big Brother star Calum Best, 35, has opened up about the ‘horrible' time of his life after his father passed away, which he says consisted of ‘drinking, drugs (and) sleeping around.’

Calum - who was evicted from the CBB 2017 house last night - was a tabloid favourite during his early twenties, noted for flings with celebrities including Lindsay Lohan and Sarah Harding.

The reality TV star admits that he became a ‘horrible’ person after his footballing legend father George Best passed away in 2005 aged 59 - when Calum was 24.

In a preview clip for tonight’s episode of Celebrities In Therapy on Channel 5, Calum says: "There was a time in my life after I lost my old man, from about 24 to 27, where I drank every day and I did drugs and slept around and I built a horrible reputation for myself.

"I was a bit ruthless in my ways. I didn’t know my arse from my elbow and I was just going here, there and everywhere with no shame and no morals about it really.”

The former Celebrity Love Island star says that as a result of his former playboy lifestyle, he’s spent the rest of his life trying to prove himself.

He says: "A lot of my life has been about me wanting to prove myself and explain myself and be liked and show I’m worthy. I still deal with it now.

"I try to act like I don’t care because things are going well. There’s still something without a doubt in me that just wants to show that I am my own man.”

He previously admittedthat his world fell apart when he caught his dad drinking while on a family holiday, three years before his death, in 2002.

Calum says: "I wanted to give up then totally… I came back and snorted and drank and sh*gged my way through everything.”
