Calvin Harris Reveals Which Girl Band Snubbed Track

Find out who turned down Dizzee's new tune Holiday here...

Calvin Harris has revealed that he originally wrote Dizzee Rascal’s new single, Holiday for girl group The Saturdays.

However, Harris has now admitted that the girlband sensationally snubbed the track before he offered the tune to the Bonkers rapper.
The Ready For The Weekend singer admitted: "I wrote it for The Saturdays. But they didn't like it. Or their A&R guy didn't like it. But Dizzee liked it. It happens."
The producer, who reportedly has a collaboration with a certain Miss Katy Perry in the pipeline also claimed that his reputation improved after working with Dizzee on the 2008 smash hit, Dance Wiv Me.
Speaking to the Independent, Harris said:"The fact that the guy who did 'Acceptable in the 80s' did a record with Dizzee made me slightly more credible to the outsider. So I guess from that slightly cynical marketing point of view, that was good."
We think so too Calvin, Holiday is out on 31st August.
