Harris has enjoyed huge success with his last LP, 18 Months, breaking Michael Jackson's UK chart record in April 2013 after scoring the most Top Ten singles from one record.

Calvin has also teamed up with girlfriend Rita Ora on her new single I Will Never Let You Down, with the blonde babe previously saying she believes the tune is "one of the coolest songs I've ever heard".

Speaking to Capital FM, Harris also said of the track: "You know a lot of people assume that it's dance music because I make dance music and that's predominantly what I do but it isn't.

"It sounds like Whitney Houston to me. 1987-89 Whitney Houston mixed with Pink."

He added: "I wrote the song with her in mind, I didn't write the song for anyone else. It wasn't just a song that was lying around. I think it really suits her.

"Sometimes I just write songs that don't sound like me."
