Little Boots Live At The Camden Crawl

The tiny Blackpool lass arrives in London…

On a bill of rather unattractive indie bands Little Boots brought some glamour and sex appeal to the Camden Crawl today.

In a sparkling blue dress and gold wedge platform shoes, Victoria Hesketh also added some pop to the guitar heavy line up.

Running through much of her forthcoming debut album the singer, joined by a drummer and keyboardist, played to a large but static crowd.

Little Boots admitted to the massive venue “I think this is the biggest gig I’ve ever played,” and gave one song, Remedy, its first live airing in the UK.

But despite the pressure she confidently ran through tracks like Symmetry, Meddle and latest single New In Town.

The set's highlight was undoubtedly the stomping closing track Stuck On Repeat, which finally got the audience going.

With a healthy dose of hype, the styling of Kylie and production from Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen/ Pink) and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip, Little Boots looks set to be massive.
