The Maccabees Live At Camden Crawl

Playing songs from their darker and deeper second album Wall Of Arms, the group had a great gig at the Camden Crawl with the Roundhouse crowd made up of many firm fans.

 

Opening with recent free download No Kind Words' slow build, the band kicked off as the track kicked in.

 

They later finished the set with well-received new single Love You Better, which of course got the crowd singing its repeated title lyric.

 

The Maccabees still played older fan-favourites including Toothpaste Kisses. That gentle track started with only heartthrob vocalist Orlando playing while the other members joined in as the song progressed.

 

From there they burst straight into another oldie Precious Time. The London group proved one if the highlights of Camden Crawl so far.
