Camila Cabello Announces The Title And Lead Single Of Her Debut Album
Breaking the news on Instagram, Camila revealed that the process will document her journey "from darkness into light" with lead single 'I Have Questions' delving into an extremely personal time of reflection and self-discovery.
"The story behind the album starts with the second song that you'll hear called 'I Have Questions,' which I started writing in a hotel bathroom on tour a little over a year ago," she told fans in a candid post.
"I was completely broken during that time, I was in the kind of pain that's uncomfortable to talk about, and it was the kind of chapter you never want to read out loud," she wrote. "I couldn't write another song for 6 months because writing meant I had to feel everything, and I wasn't ready to do that yet."
This isn't the first we've heard of solo Camila, with the upcoming album following her recent collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly on 'Bad Things', Cashmere Cat on 'Love Incredible', and Pitbull on 'Hey Ma.'
The good news is that there isn't too long until we get to hear what Camila's been cooking up in the studio, with her debut single lined up for a May 19th release and the album set to drop at some point in 2017.
