The video artistically portrays two different time frames, opening with Camila in the present perfectly executing the whole 'moody and mysterious' thing while strolling through an Autumn leaf-filled park.

Then, flashbacks from the past are intertwined throughout showing her and her ex (queue Dylan's entrance complete with a classic piano and a James Dean-inspired outfit).

The major snogging sesh kicks off at 42-second markas Camila sings "loving you was cool, and hot and sweet."

Yep, we're getting that vibe.

But if you're already obsessed with this tune, you'll know thatloving him had consequences, and that's where the ghostly arguments come in.

In our personal favourite scene, the pair floats up to the moon in a ballroom dance position and the whole thing is very E.T. meets La La Land. But then they come back down to the ground and Dylan literally vanishes into thin air. Sob.

It's an emotional roller-ghoster, to say the least.

Camila took to Instagram to get candid about the inspiration behind the video, revealing that her brain literally looked like that when she was trying to move on.

"My videos are pretty much what the inside of my brain looks like. this is what it looked like in my brain while i was trying to move on. thank you@dylansprousefor being amazing and wanting to be in my video 💙#Consequencesis out on YouTube now 🌙[sic]," she wrote.

Now please excuse us while we piece our hearts back together.
