Camila Cabello Opens Up About Reconciling With Fifth Harmony

This is what happened when she ran into Normani at the Billboard Music Awards

Camila Cabello has opened up about what really happened when she crossed paths with Normani at the Billboard Music Awards and it sounds like whatever drama might have passed between them is now water under the bridge.

While there was clearly a bit of tension between the Fifth Harmony girls when the 21-year-old decided to leave the band, the gang have clearly decided to leave all that messy business in the past.

In her cover story with Marie Claire, Camila revealed that things are “all good now” between the former group.

“I saw Normani at the Billboard [Music] Awards, and we kind of mutually came up to each other. She’d performed that night, and so I was like, ‘Oh, how was it?’ She said, ‘Oh, I was so nervous.’ And I was like, ‘By next year you’ll be totally fine. You’re killing it. I’m so happy for you. I’m so excited to see what you do with your music.’

“I told her, ‘I just want you to know, I really hope we can all move on from everything, and I’m genuinely happy for the other girls, and I hope you tell them I wish you the best.’ And she was like, ‘I’m so proud of you.’ It felt like everything is totally fine.”

During the same interview, the 'Havana' singer revealed that going solo was a “huge relief” and, by the sounds of it, it looks like the rest of the group are equally happy with the way things have turned out.
