She’s been emulated by everyone from Paris Hilton to Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan to Blake Lively, but nobody has done Marilyn Monroe quite like Candice Swanepoel.

[related] Posting on Instagram on Wednesday night, Candice paid homage to the legendary Hollywood icon, while on a shoot for beauty brand Max Factor.

“Through my work with @maxfactor I'm lucky to be able to transform through makeup,” wrote Candice. “Here @patmcgrathreal and @shayashual transformed me into Marilyn.

“Fact is Mr max factor was originally responsible for making Norma Jean into Marilyn all those years ago...It's the perfect time of year to give yourself a dramatic new look or be more adventurous with your makeup. #glamjan #maxfactor.”

Earlier this week Max Factor announced Marilyn – who died in 1962 – as their global glamour ambassador for 2015.

“Marilyn made the sultry red lip, creamy skin and dramatically-lined eyes the most famous beauty look of the 1940s and it’s a look that continues to dominate the beauty and fashion industry,” said Pat McGrath, Max Factor’s global creative design director.

“It is the ultimate look that defines glamour – nothing else compares.”

Here’s hoping we see more celebs – or just more Candice – transformed into Marilyn very soon.
