Cara Delevingne Helps All Creatures Great And Small With #Art4animals Campaign

Queen D and her BFF Sophia Kerrison are on a mission to protect animals…

Cara Delevingne is known for being a lover of animals, and now the supermodel has teamed up with New Hope Animal Rescue, her best mate Sophia Kerrison and Talenthouse for new animal welfare campaign, #Art4animals.

[related] “I’m concerned by the level of cruelty suffered by animals at the hands of humans, and I believe we have a responsibility to stand up against animal abuse, and help provide those animals who have suffered, a second chance,” says Cara, whose bunny Cecil Delevingne has his own Instagram account.

“I’m so excited to be teaming up with Talenthouse to launch #Art4Animals and support the brilliant work New Hope Rescue does in helping remove vulnerable animals from danger, particularly animals that have been turned away elsewhere,” Cara continues.

“Owning a pet is not all about the ‘cute factor’; it involves a lot of time, love and money, so if you're thinking about getting any animal as a gift for someone at Christmas, or any time of the year, make sure you are ready for the commitment!”

Through online creative hub Talenthouse, artists, designers and illustrators can submit animal-themed artworks, for the chance to be featured as part of the #Art4animals exhibition in London, which will be curated by Queen Delevingne.

The work will then be auctioned by online gallery Kids of Dada to raise money for New Hope Animal Rescue, with 16 artists selected to participate, who will receive 10% of the profits. Celebrity artists such as Matthew Williamson and Sadie Frost will also be donating their pet-themed artwork, so if you fancy getting involved, head over to Talenthousefor more info.
