Cara Delevingne 'Lands Role In Amanda Knox Movie'
Supermodel set to flex acting muscles in film based on Meredith Kercher murder...
Cara Delevingne is reported to have landed a role in a movie based on the trial of Amanda Knox.
The supermodel is claimed by The Mirror to have been cast in respected filmmaker Michael Winterbottom's account of a fictional journalist covering the trial of the woman dubbed "Foxy Knoxy".
Knox and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were found guilty in 2009 of murdering British student Meredith Kercher, although the conviction was later overturned on appeal.
Cara will not play the American in the movie, called Face Of An Angel, but is expected to have a decent-sized role.
A source told the paper: "It doesn't look like Cara will be playing Foxy Knoxy but she will have a major role, as the director wants to focus on events surrounding the trial and the people whose lives have been affected by it.
"Getting Cara is a real coup for the film but is also brilliant for her career. It proves she's an in-demand actress and will help to boost her career Stateside.
"She has been thinking about relocating there and, with big film offers coming in, it's looking likely movies will soon be Cara's main focus."
Cara has previously declared that she hopes to move more into acting.
