Cara Delevingne Making TV Acting Debut In Sky Arts Drama
Supermodel swapping catwalk for small screen with lead role in one-off drama Timeless...
Cara Delevingne has been confirmed as playing the lead in a new one-off drama for Sky Arts called Timeless.
The supermodel has made no secret of her desire to transition from modelling to acting - and she'll be seen making her small screen debut in the Playhouse Presents production.
The 21-year-old will play a woman separated from her partner by war - and 80-year-old film and theatre veteran Sylvia Syms will co-star.
A press release said: "Alice and Chloe may be generations apart but both share the pain of having been separated from their partners by war. Chloe's soldier fiancé is serving a term of duty in Afghanistan when an army official arrives at Alice's door.
"The two women are shocked by the news but the generation gap is finally closing... in this engaging tale of love, loss and hope."
The Playhouse Presents strand returns to the screen in May this year.
Cara recently confirmed her relationship with actress Michelle Rodriguez.
