Cara Delevingne Reveals She Crawled Around A Hotel Steam Room To Get Into Her Suicide Squad Character
Well, it looks like it worked…
Cara Delevingne is well on her way to becoming a superstar actress, thanks to her recent film roles in Paper Towns and The Face of an Angel.
But her upcoming appearance as Enchantress in DC’s Suicide Squad is definitely her most hyped – so we’re not too surprised the former model has gone full method for the role.
Gracing the cover of Empire magazine and debuting the first full look of her creepy character, Cara explained just who Enchantress is (because we’d never actually heard of them until now).
She told the mag: “She's an ancient sorceress - a feral being. She's been trapped for so long and now she's finally let out."
As for the woman who is taken over by Enchantress? She’s called June Moone, and according to the star: "June is an adventure-seeker who's always wanted some excitement.
“And she gets what she wished for, in a terrible way."
Obviously, as this is such a big role for Cara, it’s understandable that she wanted to get a little method over her preparation – which involved crawling around a steam room, obviously.
She added: “I decided that [Enchantress’] domain was a warm, steamy lair so I spent a lot of time in the hotel steam room.
“Occasionally someone's come in and I've just been on the floor in the corner, crawling around and doing creepy sh*t.”
Someone give this girl all of the Oscars already.
