Cardi B Reportedly Signs First Movie Deal
Now that she has the music industry wrapped around her finger, Cardi B is coming for the box office.
The record-breaking rapper has reportedly signed onto her first movie just as she wraps up her debut album in the studio.
Cardi was previously a small screen staras a cast member of Love & Hip Hop: New York for two years before making her acting debut last year on Being Mary Jane.
From 'Bodak Yellow' to 'Finesse', the rapper has emerged as one of the most exciting new talents in the past seven months and she's ready to prove she's here to stay.
Between her massive fan base and larger-than-life personality, it's no surprise that Hollywood have taken notice and want to put her on the big screen.
TMZ report that she is set to start filming in March for an undisclosed amount, although the film hasn't been announced yet.
With the Internet-made Rihanna and Lupita Nyong'o movie reportedly now in production, it would bemajor to see Cardi star alongside the iconic A-listers.
Whatever the role is, we know that Cardi will kill it. We're ready!
