Actress Debbie Reynolds Passes Away Just Days After Daughter Carrie Fisher
It's been a tough week.
Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds has passed away just days after her daughter Carrie Fisher.
According to TMZ the 84-year-old actress died as a result of a stroke, and was making funeral plans for her daughter when she was taken to hospital on Wednesday (December 28).
Her son Todd told the Guardian, “The last thing she said this morning was that she was very, very sad about losing Carrie and that she would like to be with her again."
“Fifteen minutes later she suffered a severe stroke.”
“The only thing we’re taking solace in is that what she wanted to do was take care of her daughter, which is what she did best,” he added.
On Friday Carrie suffered a heart attack on a flight from London to LA, dying two days later.
