Adele is known for her wicked sense of humour and general all round awesomeness, so it was no surprise that she went all out and dressed up as George Michael for her recent birthday celebrations!

The singer shared a hilarious snap of herself in full hair and make-up in a photo boothrocking a faux beard and aviators, complete with an 80's hair quiff.

"Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful time!" Adele wrote on Twitter. "I was my hero x #gottahavefaith."

George was quick to respond to the honour, saying:

We would LOVE to see which other famous faces donned their best 80's gear for the bash, we're thinking Alan Carr, a couple of One Direction and maybe Example?
