We can tell from her music that FKA twigs is the sensitive type, and it seems the press attention from dating movie star Robert Pattinson has been getting to her a bit.

The 27-year-old star - real name Tahliah Barnett - has been telling the New York Times that she struggles to deal with being followed around by paps.

"It's really hard," she admitted. "I can't begin to explain how awful it is.

"It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror."

Erm, don't do that please twigs!

And she also admitted that she'd been the subject of abuse from jealous fans, some of it racial in nature.

"It's relentless," she explained. "There's no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I'm not a monkey."

But fortunately it seems she's happy enough with R-Pattz to deal with all the unpleasantness.

"I didn't see my life going this way at all," she confessed. "But it's worth it. I'm so happy."

And if she's happy then we're happy.
