French Montana and Khloe Kardashian have led tributes to rapper Chinx, who was killed on Sunday (May 17) in a drive-by shooting in Queens, New York.
The 31-year-old was with a friend in a car when gunfire began, striking Chinx a number of times in the torso.
The rapper was a member of French's Coke Boys, and found fame through his Cocaine Riot series of mix tapes.
French and Khloe were quick to share their condolences on social media, as well as a number of others in the industry including DJ Khaled and Juicy J.
Collaborator Meek Mill spoke of his loss: "Can’t let these suckas shatter ya dreams! RIP CHINX!” tweeted the MC. “The hood gotta stop glorifying suckas that kill good people!”
