According to her, the pair ‘hooked up’ after the shoot and kept in touch for a year after until they decided to give things ago. She told Cosmo: “I let him be himself for a while,” she said. “The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, There’s so much more out there. I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, ‘What are we?’ Marriage was never my goal, because I’ve never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with him.”

2. Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney

The singer met the Chicago Fire actor in 2011 when he was a little known model after he was hired to star as a her love interest in the video for You & I. Soon after the video was released rumours started flying the two were an item and they ended up dating for five years.

3. Nathan Sykes and Ariana Grande

It was a match made in popstar heaven when The Wanted’s Nathan and Ari recorded the loved up duet Almost Is Never Enough. After meeting for the video shoot, the pair quickly fell for each other and dated for a few months in 2013. She told Entertainmentwise: "I saw him in March on a red carpet, and we locked eyes with each other all night. I thought, he was cute as hell. Nothing happened obviously. And then, the duet came about. We hadn't met really still, until we shot the video. It was a really fun day - he was very sweet and cute. We started talking and then it just went from there."

4. Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo

Ironically, Nick cast Vanessa as the love interest that was supposed to represent his ex-wife Jessica Simpson in the break up song he wrote about their relationship. After the video for What’s Left Of Me debuted in 2006, the pair announced they had started dating.

5. Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl

While the actress was still playing Izzy Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy she took a little side gig and starred in Josh’s music video for Only You in 2005. She later admitted on Meredith Viera that she had used another singer John Mayer to hook him in. She said: “These musicians, they are competitive and jealous of each other. 6. Travie McCoy and Katy Perry

Before she was a mega popstar, Katy was cast in the video of Gym Class Heroes’ video for Cupid’s Chokehold.
