From Camila Cabello To Ariana Grande: 11 Of The Most Epic Answers Celebs Have Given To Stupid Questions

Are you serious tho?

Being a celeb and doing interviews must be well fun, what with all those games you play and answering ridiculous questions. But there must be the odd time when you’re sitting there speaking to someone and they ask you something dumb AF that makes you want to slap them.

Whether it’s sexist, stupid or downright rude, famous folk have to face these queries and come up with a calm and rational response. You know as opposed to what we’d do: scream in their face and run out. Just us?

So here are some of the most inane questions celebs have ever had to deal with and their EPIC responses....

BUT FIRST, THESE ARE ALL THE REALITY STAR CRYING FACES THAT YOU NEED IN YOUR LOCKER....

1. Camila Cabello

When Fifth Harmony were asked if one of them was sleeping with a lot of people and if they would they say something, Camila swiftly shut it down. When the interviewer queried: “If someone in your crew were to act a fool and ho it up a little, would anybody here call them out?” they replied:” We feel like, we, as women, aren’t in the position to be telling other women what to do and what not to do.”

THANK YOU.

2. Scarlett Johansson

Immediately following Robert Downey Jr being asked a deep question about losing himself in acting. The interviewer turned to ask Scarlett about what kind of diet she had been on. She shot back: “How come [Robert] get[s] the existential question [about acting] and I get the rabbit food question?”

3. Keira Knightly

During a series of red carpet interviews, the actress was asked: “How do you manage to balance a career and your marriage?” Clearly tired of being asked such a sexist question she answered: “Are you going to ask all the men that tonight?”

4. Ariana Grande

In 2015, Ariana was being interviewed for her new album when she was asked by the radio presenters which she would pick between her makeup or her phone. She promptly responded: “Is this men assuming what girls would have to choose between?” They continued to be sexist, prompting Ariana to get sassy AF, saying: "You need a little brushing up on equality over here.” Queen.

5. Megan Fox

When Megan was asked if she thought a time would come in the near future where we would see more female leads for superhero movies she pointed out the stupidity of the question. She replied: “Do you think I would answer anything but yes to that question? So you think I would be like, ’No, it’s not time for women to be in movies, let’s take it back 50 years?"

6. Rashida Jones

In an incredibly awkward moment, the amazing Rashida Jones was chatting on the red carpet when a presenter complimented her appearance saying: “You look amazing – gorgeous! You look like you’ve just come off an island or something. You’re very tan, very tropical.” To which she replied: “I mean, you know, I’m ethnic.” Sigh.

7. Rihanna

Ri-Ri has made no secret of how sick she is of being asked about her love life so it’s kind of astounding how much people continue to press her on it. After being asked what she looks for in a man, she stated: “I’m not looking for a man, let’s start there.” Dum dums.

8. Tom Hardy

During the press tour for Mad Max: Fury Road, Tom Hardy was asked, maybe, one of the dumbest questions of all time. The interviewer mused: "Did you ever think ‘why are all these women in here? I thought this was meant to be a man’s movie?" Tom quickly replied: “No. Not for one minute.” Smh.

9. Alice Eve

Oh wait, this is in the running for dumbest questions so hold on Hardy, you have competition. Star Trek actress Alice was asked during the promo tour: “Aren’t you a little bit too beautiful to be a science officer?” Keeping A LOT calmer than we would have she answered: “Oh um, that’s very kind of you. I’m very flattered. But I didn’t know that those things were mutually exclusive.” WHAT IS LIFE?

10. Amy Poehler

You can always rely on Amy to shut down some dumb ass questions and at one point she didn’t even let her interviewer finish as he started to say: “There used to be this myth that women can’t be as funny as men...” Cutting in she shot back: “Ugh this question is boring.” LOL.

11. Jennifer Lawrence

During the press conference for her 2013 Oscar win a journalist asked her if she was concerned she was ‘peaking too soon’, since at the age of 22 she's already won the ultimate acting award. She laughed in surprise and replied: “Well, now I am.”
