Even though it looked like the speedy romance of these two would continue into walking down the aisle but the couple have reportedly put the brakes on the wedding. A source told People: "It was getting quite intense and they realized they want to enjoy being engaged for a while. It's not like they need to rush—they are both so young. They aren't slowing things down though because they are unsure if they want to marry; they definitely want to get married."

The pair have a had a long old road of it so far and have been engaged for around three and a half years in total. We think. After being engaged for a year and a half back in 2012/13 they split until 2016 when Miley was spotted with the ring back on. Only time will tell if this will be the world’s longest engagement or whether they’ll break our hearts again.

6. Kristen Bell and Dax Shephard: 4 years

After meeting in 2007 the comedian couple got engaged in 2009 but announced they wouldn’t get married until gay marriage was legalised in California. When it finally happened in 2013, Kristen re-proposed to Dax via Twitter and the pair had a low-key ceremony in a courthouse later that year. Cuuuute.

7. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green: 4 years

When Megan was a little known actress, Brian popped the question to her in 2006 before she hit it big in 2007 with Transformers. In 2009 the pair split before getting back together a few months later but Meg didn’t put the ring back on her finger until 2010 and they made it official. But it wasn’t over there. The pair filed for divorce in 2015 before announcing she was carrying their third child and getting back together in 2016. PHEW.
